Samples on Me and My Big Ideas?

Post by Bertrand » Sat Jul 28, 2007 1:29 pm

I recently got to watch Hitchcock's Frenzy. I had seen the film a long time ago and knew I'd like it.
Then, to my surprise, I heard something I felt familiar with.
I browsed through the first album the Mabuses recorded (where they used a sample of Anthony Perkins in Psycho), but it wasn't there.
I then thought it was on a TVP track, but where?
So here it was : the "lovely... lovely... lovely" that can be heard at the end of this Closer to God song comes from Frenzy, when the bad guy assaults his victim.

Any idea of where the rest of the text in the song comes from?

I list a couple of these on the main site, Bertrand.

The 'Frenzy' and 'A Taste of Honey' samples were easy to spot, but the others sound like they come from a children's tv show.
