The Container Drivers have just released their debut single, 'It Must be the Pipes'. Of interest to TV Personalities fans is the b-side, which is a cover of 'You, Me and Lou Reed'. The CD is available from Topplers for just £1, plus P&P. You can listen to the A side on the group's Myspace page.
Edit: I love your Dorian Gray cover, how you changed some of the lyrics & that.

I'll be sure to buy it.
Very kind!

There's a good reason for the lyric change... we learned the song from the only version of it that we had at the time, and that's the live one from 'Chocolate Art' in which Dan playfully changes the lyrics. We heard the 'and don't the kids' version later but decided to stick with the amended version.

I personally always find it very interesting when people do that, original artist or otherwise.
Makes it more interesting than a word-for-word cover.

I'd say the original song on there (It Must Be The Pipes) is pretty damn good too!

And here's another clip from the same gig. This is a brand new song - first time we played it after bashing it out in just one rehearsal beforehand.
