Tito Ramirez 'Be My Girl' b/w 'Lonely Man'

Sounds like it was recorded in the 60s but it's a new release from Spain which has now sold out. I was lucky enough to bag a copy from Spain and it was £20 cheaper than what Juno were asking for the 45! I can see 'Lonely Man' going down at storm at my Get Hip club.

Issued in 2011. Contains 24 previously unreleased tracks recorded for Motown in 1963-64. Nice.

The debut album from Les Grys-Grys.
I very much doubt I'll hear a better album this year.

Jade Hairpins' - "Harmony Avenue" will be my next one... pre-ordered it, the YouTube singles are amazing.
Label blurb:
As bandleader Jonah Falco will tell you, it's a technicolor burst through the plastic age, outlying the exhaustion of bad decisions and failures to communicate, all wrapped up in a cornucopia of bubblegum, new wave, disco, and post-punk."
